Vishwaguruji and Narayan Seva

On 14 January 2016, Sri Hari Prashant, a representative of Narayan Seva Sansthan from Udaipur, visited our Jadan Ashram in order to express his gratitude to Vishwaguruji for supporting the charitable activities of that institution.

As a special sign of appreciation, Vishwaguruji was given the traditional shawl, cap and a memento statue, as well as a written message from Kailash Agrawal 'Manav' Saab, its founder.

Narayan Seva is a remarkable non-profitable establishment run by Mahamandaleshwar Kailash Agrawal, which gives tens of thousands of treatments and operations free of charge, for patients suffering from poliomelitis and cerebral palsy. In this way, they are helping those in need who are not able to afford medical services, thereby selflessly improving the quality of life of the Indian population. And it is not only medical treatments they offer to patients for free, but also accomodation in the hospital, food, and rehabilitation, as well as a wide variety of orthopedic devices.

Narayan Seva offers many important services, all financed only through donations, including:

  • supplying food on a daily basis to several thousand people living in poverty, free of charge;
  • giving the opportunity for social integration through providing educational courses in sewing, IT, and repair of electronic devices to underprivileged people.
  • a boarding and primary school for orphans.

Vishwaguruji praised Narayan Seva highly and spoke of their work in great detail, as well as his long friendship with the founder, Manav Saab. Vishwaguruji has made the decision to initiate a Trust Fund for supporting its voluntary activities, thus aiding them in gaining the means for helping more children with illness or special-needs.

One of the reasons for this event was also the recent operation of Arjuna Puri Zlamalik, a young devotee of Vishwaguruji from Croatia. Sitting beside Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jasraj Puriji and the statue of our beloved Gurudev Paramhans Swami Madhavanandaji, Arjuna also received a gift, and expressed, with great expectation, his thankfulness and satisfaction with Vishwaguruji's blessing and guidance to the services of Narayan Seva.
