Kalash Puja
On the auspicious day of Anant Chaturdashi in Bhadrapada month (28.9.2023), a consecration ceremony of the holy Kalash for Om Ashram was performed.
The construction of Om Ashram is in the last stages. Many details still need to be taken care of before the Grand Opening of the ashram on 19 February 2024.
One of the details is a Kalash Puja, a consecration ceremony of a special brass decoration, which will go on the top of the Om Ashram. When the kalash is put on the top of a temple, this temple is considered open.
Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda Ji arrives at the yagya place.
The complete ceremony lasted almost two hours.
Prayer at the end of the yagya.
After the yagya, Vishwaguruji gives his adorations to the Shiva Lingam, in the form of a stone brought from the holy Kedarnath mountain.
Final puja for the kalash.
After the puja, Vishwaguruji pays his respects to Bhagwan Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji and the Shiva Lingam in the Shiva Temple, Jadan Ashram.
