The world's only Om-shaped temple in Jadan, Pali, has been established. Now, under the guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Maheshwarananda Maharaj, the process of transforming it into a Yoga University has begun. This university, spread over 250 acres in Om Akara, will offer diploma courses in yoga. Mahamandaleshwar Phoolpuri Maharaj stated that the syllabus of the university will be based on ancient education systems, where diplomas will be offered in various yoga disciplines simultaneously. Education in Vedas, Upanishads, Shastras, and Puranas, along with Indian culture, will be provided. An important aspect is that Swami Maheshwarananda Maharaj envisioned this years ago. He now teaches yoga internationally, operating yoga centers abroad. There are more than 45,000 yoga centers in 175 countries under his direction. Additionally, to promote the environment, over 200,000 plants have been planted under the guidance of Swami Maheshwarananda Maharaj.
Diplomas Offered:
Swami Maheshwarananda Maharaj has written a book to teach yoga in a simple manner. The special feature of this book is that it explains easy yoga methods, allowing people aged 5 to 75 to learn yoga. Maheshwarananda Maharaj designed it himself, and under his supervision, engineers completed the entire design.
Bhakti Yoga: This course will offer a diploma. It will take two to three years. About 108 air-conditioned rooms have been built in the Om Ashram complex for this purpose.
Jnana Yoga: Four large halls are being constructed. The entire campus atmosphere is being made yoga-centric.
Karma Yoga: A diploma will be offered in two to three years. A complete course on maintaining health through yoga will also be provided.
Raja Yoga: Various processes to develop leadership skills through yoga will be taught. The complete syllabus for Raja Yoga will be studied separately.
