Rameshbhai Ojha Visits OM Ashram
Famous Hindu spiritual leader Rameshbhai Ojha and his group visited OM Ashram
on January 25, 2014. Rameshbhai is from Gujarat and a preacher of Vedanta philosophy. Tens of thousands of people came to listen to his Satsang in Sojat, where Shri Rameshbhai presented a week of Srimad Bhagavad Katha (reading of Srimad Bhagavatam Puranas, sacred stories about Lord Krishna).
In his Satsang speech Shri Rameshbhai spoke about the importance of prayer and puja at sunset. He advised that the time of dusk is as important as the time of dawn. It is a spiritual time that should be observed with thoughts of God, not with leisure, eating, drinking alcohol, or dancing in the disco. After completing our day’s work, and before dinner, we should wash ourselves, light an oil lamp or candle on the altar and perform mantra japa, prayer and puja.
