Satsang is a Sanskrit term that is commonly used in Hinduism. It is a compound of two words: "Sat," which means "truth" or "reality," and "sang," which means "association" or "company." Thus, satsang means "association with truth" or "company of the wise."

In practical terms, Satsang refers to a gathering of individuals who come together to discuss and contemplate spiritual topics, such as self-realization, the nature of reality, and the purpose of life. The purpose of Satsang is to deepen one's understanding of spiritual principles, to share insights and experiences, and to support each other on the spiritual path.

A spiritual teacher may lead Satsang, or it may be a more informal gathering of friends or fellow seekers. It can take many different forms, including group meditation, chanting, and discussion. Satsang is considered to be an essential part of spiritual practice, as it provides a supportive and uplifting environment for spiritual growth.
